Ben Harper was Awesome
Ben Harper was amazing, but I wasn't overly impressed with the sound or set up at this venue. I could have had a longer set list. Thank god for the big monitors, or with lawn seats & people standing, you couldn't have seen much. Social Distortion disappointed me. Once they came on, those big monitors went from color to black & white, not to mention kinda fuzzy looking. My husband swears they do it so that people can't bootleg video, but honestly, as someone paying to see it NOW, it was kind of annoying. I wasn't impressed with them till towards the end when they did 2 encores. They seemed to have more energy then. I would see Ben Harper again, but Social Distortion just left an "eh" feeling to me.
